Program Assistant for Supported Employment

Job Description: 

Meridian Behavioral Health Services is seeking a part-time Program Assistant (20 hours/week) for Supported Employment.  The Program Assistant is the primary contact for the team and is responsible for administrative support of the team, as well as communicating with other local organizations and service recipients. The Program Assistant is supervised by the SE Team Lead.  This position will require the ability to utilize crisis prevention/intervention skills.

The Program Assistant is responsible for:

  • Organizing, coordinating, and monitoring all administrative operations of the team,
  • Record management,
  • Entering and tracking team performance and beneficiary outcome data,
  • Receiving calls and responding to referral sources,
  • Data management and running reports,
  • Assist with organizational record keeping,
  • Scheduling and coordinating SE activities, and
  • Outreach to service recipients.

This position plays a key role in the functioning of the SE Team, therefore, applicants must:

  • have advanced computer and typing skills,
  • have a good oral presentation and phone etiquette,
  • be able to follow written and verbal directions, record basic data, and report observations to supervisor,
  • have a High School Diploma or GED, and
  • have a valid driver's license with no restrictions.
