Peer Support Specialist

Job Description: 

Meridian is seeking a full-time Peer Support Specialist for the Recovery Education Center in Haywood County.  Being a Peer Support Specialist provides an opportunity for individuals to transform their own personal lived experience with mental health and/or addiction challenges into a tool for inspiring hope for recovery in others.  

 Applicants must:

  • demonstrate maturity in their own recovery process,
  • have a HS Diploma or GED,
  • have a valid driver's license with no restrictions, and
  • have moderate computer skills.
