Front Office Engagement Specialist

Job Description: 

Meridian is seeking a full-time Front Office Engagement Specialist.  This position plays a critical role in providing quality care to consumers receiving services from Meridian, community partners, as well as Meridian staff.   The position will interact with customers through a variety of methods, including but not limited to receiving and answering inbound calls for the purpose of scheduling/rescheduling appointments, routing calls to appropriate staff members, providing basic information about services and programs etc., as well as face to face engagement as customers arrive for appointments. There may occasionally be a need to work at other offices for coverage assistance.

Applicants must have:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of front office/receptionist experience required with preference given to those with experience in the mental health field
  • Advanced computer and typing skills
  • Good oral presentation for front desk duties and phone etiquette
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • A valid driver's license with no restrictions and willingness to travel as needed for office coverage
