Accounts Receivable Technician

Job Description: 

Meridian is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Technician to join the Billing team in Jackson County.  The primary job duties will be commercial insurance claims follow-up and payment posting, but will also include insurance verification, prior authorization for services, and claim submission as needed to support the department. The ideal candidate must be  detail oriented, highly organized, have strong written and verbal communication skills, knowledge of insurance verification and the claims adjudication process. A high school diploma, 3-5 years commercial insurance billing experience and experience with a billing clearinghouse is required.  CPC (Certified Professional Coder) preferred.
