Behavioral Health Specialist / LCSW

Job Description: 

Meridian Behavioral Health Services is partnering with Mission Hospital to provide a Behavioral Health Specialist at the Cashiers Mission Community Primary Care office who will act as a consultant in a primary care setting and will provide brief interventions, screenings, skill training, patient education, and work as a part of the greater medical team. The ideal candidate will be an experienced clinician with substance abuse experience who is highly adaptable and interested in working on a primary care team where suboxone is also prescribed for opioid use. This position requires a fully-licensed LCSW and the clinician must either hold a substance abuse license or be interested and willing to work towards that credential supported by Meridian. Applicants should have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, flexibility, and moderate computer skills. This position will provide Integrated Care services 2 days per week in Cashiers and could potentially be combined with another position at Meridian if full-time employment is desired.
