Haywood County- Adult Services

Psychiatric Nurse - Assertive Community Treatment Team - (ACTT)

Meridian is seeking an RN or LPN to join our Haywood/Buncombe County Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT), in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina.  The ACTT nurse is responsible for conducting psychiatric assessments; assessing physical needs; making appropriate referrals to community physicians; providing management and administration of medication in conjunction with the psychiatrist; providing a range of treatment, rehabilitation and support services; and sharing shift-management responsibility with the ACTT Coordinator.  Employee must have a valid driver's license without violations or restrictions which could prevent completing all required job functions.  Full or part time applicants welcome.

Employment Support Professional - Supported Employment

The ESP functions as part of a team that implements employment services based on the SE-IPS model. The team's goal is to support individuals with MH/SUD obtain and maintain competitive employment.  The ESP is responsible for collaborating with clients on creating and achieving their personal employment goals.  They will also develop relationships with potential employers in the community in order to create employment opportunities for clients. Applicants must have a valid driver's license with no restrictions, a bachelor's degree or higher, and be proficient with a computer.  Preference will be given to Qualified Professionals and Certified Employment Support Professionals. 

Employment Peer Mentor - Supported Employment

The Employment Peer Mentor (EPM) functions as part of a team that implements employment services based on the SE-IPS model.  The team's goal is to support individuals with MH/SUD obtain and maintain competitive employment.  The EPM is responsible for sharing their lived experience with MH/SUD challenges and how those challenges impacted employment.  The EPM offers hope and motivation to others to seek employment, wellness and community integration.  Applicants must have a valid driver's license with no restrictions, be proficient with a computer and qualify to be a Certified Peer Support Specialist in North Carolina.

Vocational Specialist - Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT)

Meridian is seeking a Vocational Specialist to work on our Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT) in Haywood County.  This position offers a unique opportunity to work with individuals and businesses supporting people returning to the workforce.  Bachelor’s degree, valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.    

 

Haywood and Transylvania Counties- Child Services

Clinician/Team Leader - Intensive In-Home Services

Intensive In-Home service is a team approach, using strengths-based interventions, designed to address the identified needs of children and adolescents who, due to serious and chronic symptoms of an emotional/behavioral disorder, are unable to remain stable in the community without intensive interventions. The primary goal of the IIH staff and service is to stabilize the client's functioning and eliminate the risk of out of home placement or more restrictive interventions.  Applicants must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, flexibility and moderate computer skills.  Must have Master's degree and be licensed or license eligible.

Currently seeking a licensed/associate licensed therapist for an exciting opportunity to join our Child and Family Services team in Transylvania County. This clinician will be serving youth and their families through individual and group therapy, working primarily out of local schools.  Applicant must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, flexibility, and moderate computer skills.  Must have Master's degree and be licensed or license eligible.

 

Jackson County- Adult Services

Clinician - Recovery Education Center (REC)

Jackson County - Adult & Child Services

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - Jackson County

We are currently recruiting for a full time CMA for Psychiatric Medication Management for adults and children. Graduate of an accredited Certified Medical Assistant program and CMA certification with AAMA or AMT required.  Two years of related experience preferred, preferably in an outpatient medical office setting.  

 

Macon County- Adult Services

Employment Support Professional (ESP) - Supported Employment Program

The ESP functions as part of a team that implements employment services based on the SE-IPS model.  The team’s goal is to support individuals who have had challenges with obtaining and/or maintaining employment in the past and to obtain and maintain competitive employment moving forward.  The ESP is responsible for engaging clients and establishing trusting, collaborative relationships that result in the creation of completion of individualized employment goals.  The ESP will support the client through the whole employment process and provide a variety of services at each state to support the individual in achieving their employment goals.

Clinician- Integrated Care

MBHS is partnering with Mission Hospital in Macon County to provide brief Mental Health assessments, interventions and services in a family practice setting.  This unique opportunity will place the LCSW in a traditional primary care setting with regular business hours.  Must be fully-licensed LCSW.

 

Macon County- Child Services

Day Treatment QP/Manager

Currently seeking a Qualified Professional to fill the position of Day Treatment Manager.  Day Treatment includes a structured program that builds on strengths and addresses the identified problems associated with the complex conditions of each individual.  The Day Treatment manager will oversee the Day Treatment administrative program operation.  They will assure the program is operated according to service definition policies and procedures.  The manager will provide administrative supervision to all direct service staff and also provides development and implementation of the client’s person centered plan, monitor progress of client and the family, and case management duties within a Systems of Care model.   QPs must have a Bachelor's degree in Human Services with two years of full time, post-degree experience with this population.

 

Transylvania County- Adult Services

Clinician, Team Leader- Community Support Team (CST)

We are seeking a passionate, values-driven and dynamic professional to oversee our Community Support Team (CST), serving Transylvania County.  CST is a community based mental health and substance abuse rehabilitation service, which provides support through a team approach to adults.  Licensed Professional or Associate level Licensed Professional required.  Substance Abuse credential preferred.  At least one year of supervised clinical experience is required.  This is a new service for Transylvania County, requiring someone who can confidently manage a team of three and is comfortable working with the challenges of bringing up a new service.  

 

Cherokee County- Adult Services

Clinician - Assertive Community Treatment Team - (ACTT)

Seeking an energetic and passionate individual to join the Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT) in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina.  Come experience the satisfaction of providing recovery-oriented services within the context of a strong team wraparound model serving Cherokee, Clay and Graham counties.  If you are not familiar with ACTT, this position will provide you with an opportunity to experience an enhanced service that really works!  Must have a Master’s degree and be licensed/license-eligible.

Being a Peer Support Specialist provides an opportunity for individuals to transform their own personal lived experience with mental health and/or addiction challenges into a tool for inspiring hope for recovery in others.   Applicants must demonstrate maturity in their own recovery process, have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and have moderate computer skills.
